SEMI-COKE

Semi coke is made of excellent Jurassic clean coal and its main characters are : low sulphur, low phosphorus, high fixed carbon, high specific resistance and high chemical activity.
It has gradually replaced metallurgical coke and been widely used in all kind of ferro-alloys production such as calcium carbide, ferro-silicon etc. Becoming a carbon material with far higher quality than metallurgical coke.
Its porosity is around 80%, but metallurgical coke is only 30-40%.
The specific surface area of semi-coke is far bigger than metallurgical coke with same size granules. Meanwhile, the specific resistance and other indexes also have great superiority, details are as below:
